It's finally the weekend, which is always appreciated. I went to look
for a homecoming dress today...didn't find anything I liked too much.
Anyway, I came home and I was pretty bored. Being my creative self I
decided to read some of my old LJ entries. Some were really annoying
and I just complained a lot, but some were really really funny. And
because I thought people wouldn't believe they were actually funny and
I wanted them to get the same joy I did from them so I compiled a list
of some of the things I laughed at.

So....what's happened lately? School started which is so much fun, of course. Crew started, which is aactually fun. Except that we're starting with what we ended the season with last year. Which is kinda weird. I've finally started driving for school. It was going pretty well, except today we almost got into an accident. Not my fault at all...someone made an illegal laft turn w/o a signal when I had a green light. But it's all cool now. Hmmmm...there's not really that much to say. And this is really boring anyway. So comment and I'll answer with something more interesting.

School started. Summer is officially over. Not too happy about all that. The summer was good, I made a lot of money doing almost nothing at all. A lot of times it was working for like 15 minutes with an hour break, especially towards the end. So I got paid to get tan and be at the pool a lot. But yeah, it was good. School seems like it's going to be a lot of work this year, because it's all IBish and all, and the classes are really small which is cool. I'm not a real fan of the new schedule thing, but maybe they'll change it back by next year? I'm finally getting to drive so I can get my lisence and not be able to pay for gas along with everyone else. Can't wait for that! But I have some of that school work to do....that weird history thing. So that's all for now.

My internet broke/is broken. Sorta. Really I just think it's broken but I haven't tried anything to fix it or see if it's just unplugged or something. So I've been online like two times all summer. I really just wanted to see if I could not use the computer on all the time, so when it broke I never fixed it. And now my parnts can't say I'm online all the time. So, the summer has been good so far. I haven't really been talking to people from school...which is kinda weird. Mostly been working, a lot. But that just means more money come the winter. And I'm pretty materialistic, so it works out nicely. There's really nothing to write about. So I guess if you really want to know about anything, just call?

When did it get so hot? I remember thinking it was freezing for this time of year on Friday.
Hmmmm....again it wasn't a very interesting week. School was...school?
There's not really much to say. It's almost the end of the year,
there's only 1 more real day left. And I'm very happy about that. I
worked all day Saturday...and it rained so there were like 5 people in
the pool at the most. Today I worked inside for 5 hours. So basically I
sat there for 5 hours wondering why people who can't swim come to the
pool. And why old people wear those floaty belts and look like they're
dead. And why so many people come into the pool and swim for like 5
minutes and leave. And then a lady came up to me to tell me that there
was a guy swimming in the pool who smelled really bad. I'm not really
sure what she wanted me to do about it. After that I went to the WYRA
thing.....not the same as 6 Flags at all. It was cool to see everyone
again, but I much would have rather gone to some where besides the
nasty boathouse which now smells like crabs. That was about it. And
then I came home and did like all of my history outline stuff. 23 pages
written (like 23 sides...not 23 pieces of paper. I hate how that always
has to be explained).....Next week is finals. I only have to take 3 of
them...but they're my 3 hardest classes (duh, if not I would have
gotten As in them.) But I'm kinda thinking Uthgenannt is just going to
take the time to teach us new stuff. Because that's what she's been
doing instead of reviewing. So here's a survey thing because I have

So it was an interesting weekend. Friday was underclassmen's which was really fun of course. We all went to dinner and then to the dance. I didn't take any pictures, maybe because I didn't bring my camera. Which reminds me I still have some from the last regatta to put up. Saturday I shopped a little and then went to Ali's party which was also very fun. And I have to say I am a beast at both air hockey and that game we played. We played super fun air hockey and Ali and Jackie played pool withthe weird "special shot" stick that neither Catherine nor myself understood. Then we went in her hot tub with the weird chemical stick that kept chasing people. Yeah, so then we played some game on her TV that I was super good at. Haha. Sure I was. Sunday I had my lifeguarding thing again, which wasn't too bad. We finished early and there only ended up being two classes which was better than I was expecting. And I passed. So now I know first aid and CPR and stuff.
There are only 7 more days of school left, not including finals. This year went by really fast, but I always think that looking back on it. I finally finished my research paper which I'm really happy about. It's only like 9 and a half pages, but I think thats okay. It's pretty boring. But my printer isn't working, so I think I should go fix that before I try to print it all.

Saturday was the last regatta of the season. Regionals and all that. Friday we went to dinner...which was fun...but sad because it meant the season was over. The guy came over and sang to Kate, I thought that was funny. Anyway, Regionals was a lot different than I was expecting. The 8 didn't make it back to finals even though I was kinda assuming we would based on the other people we were racing. It wasn't really any one person's fault, it was more like a lot of really bad coincidinces. The start was messed up cause they had no lane markers, and then Savannah got sick, and Devon caught a crab and got hit in the face. Yeah, it couldda been worse, but that doesn't mean it didn't suck. I was really mad, but there's nothing I can do about it now. I know it was just a bad race, but it seems like something "happens" to our boat at every race. We don't have a working cox box, people catch crabs, someone gets sick, something always happens. And then I didn't race in the 4 cause races were closer together than expected. So I was in the other 8 which made it back to finals. I thought we rowed pretty well, but we got 5th and supposedly it was worse than the other race. I hate the Butt, it's such a bad boat. Besides the racing it was all good though. I had way too much fun with the Ninja Tutrtle's kite.
As for today, fun Lifeguarding class from 9-5. Yeah....that was fun. It actually wasn't that bad and we probbaly will only have two classes. It was like in and out of the pool all day though, watching movies and reading and then giving CPR to fake babies. I'm actually kinda looking forward to working this summer though, and school ending.

So....(I've noticed I start like every entry with "so") Friday was coolish. School was okay, it went really fast. Afterward we had crew "practice" at Tower Hill. It was supposed to be a fun day. We played frisbee in the park thing. Actually we didnt really play. Kara hurt her knee, so like 10 people went over to talk to her, 5 of acted stupid, doing cartwheels, making faces at the dog, "covering" certain people...stuff like that, and like 4 people actually played with the frisbee. I guess it was over, and Jaquila, Cait, Catherine, and Ali went on the Zipper at the flower market. Jackie was like terrified of it so we flipped it a lot. "I almost hit my head on that!!"--Jackie after sitting the whole time with her head like plastered to the back of the seat. We had some extra tickets, and I asked some people if they wanted them...but as Cait and Catherine know...they seemed a little confused. After that I just came home and I couldn't go anywhere cause my mom had to pick up my dad and my sister from el aeropuerto. Yah, I'm like bilingual now...and bisweptual. Haha.
I had crew this morning, actually at the river. We all got really wet, but it was okay. And then I went to Cait's to mulch to raise money for the Six Flags thing. I'm gonna be really mad if we have to pay for everyone else, and the boys. Especially the thing about the van. I mean, what's so wrong with my idea about the trailer, anyway? Haha. Mulching was....good? I was really bad at the shoveling tho, cause I kept taking from the wrong part. Haha. We moved like a million....or 30...things of mulch and then did some super cool gardening. After that we sorted socks Cait dyed/made them into birds/made them pretty/watched Napoleon Dynamite. Then Cait and I made the coolest (meaning most poorly made, nasty looking, but ok tasting) cake ever. And then we burned leaves outside, because it was even cooler. Yeah, it was a super fun Saturday. And I got presents from my sister and dad for...I guess just for them being away? I dono. And then I figured out that I don't think I can go to Kaylee's party. This is gonna make me sound stupid, but I knew Mother's Day was Sunday and that her party was Sunday but somehow I didn't realize they were the same day. So anyway I don't think I can go.
I don't think anyone reads this...except like 2 people. Isn't that fun?

So I haven't updated this journal in like forever. Yes,It has actually been forever since my last entry. Again, there's not too much to write about. I guess it's just another boring entry for Nina. School has been pretty bad in the whole acedemia aspect. Crew has been okay. We have had a few regattas, more sunburn, another 2k which was kinda bad. I've been rowing starboard so I'm getting even more blisters...and thats fun. There's only like a week left of real practices. It's gonna be weird...and next fall we'll all be varsity. Everyone else is goin away tomorrow, so we're playing frisbee? It made sense before somehow. Anyway, no school Monday...I keep forgetting about that.

So let's see...I haven't updated in like a week again.
School has been oh so interesing, of course. I got a B in math....C in chem. I have so much homework this weekend, I guess cause I've been putting a lot of it off. Mostly, I just didn't realize how much stuf was due in the next week. But school is ok I guess, I really want to go to the talent show and the Mr. Mount thing this week, but I just dont think I can.
Crew is good as usual. There are a few little problems, but nothing big. I guess that's just what happens with a crew of like 25 girls. We had our first real regatta yesterday. Like all yesterday. We got 4th in our race thing. I didn't think it was very good, but we didn't have a cox box and I guess that made it harder. Probably more for like bow than for me. Anyway, it was fun...we just kinda hung around all day and the whole racing part took like an hour. I'm like sunburned on one arm and not on the other...and I dono how it happened because I wasn't in one place for any length of time. I took lots of pictures, but I think I accidentally deleted them cause when I went to look, none of them were there. We have a 2k tomorrow, on which I really need to well.
But today I have a lot of homework...so I should get some of it done at least. Yeah, another super-interesting post by me.

I didn't update for awhile again. Again, there's not too much to write about. It was just anther normal week at school. I can't believe this year is almost over, it went by really fast. But summer will be nice. I'm gonna try to work at Row Fot It a few times to get community service hours for next year cause I'll need a lot of them for IB. Crew was good this week...I've been stroking which is fun. Yesterday was our "scrimmage" with Radnor. The people we raced weren't very good, and we won all 4 or 5 of our pieces. My foot stretcher thing broke for the first one, so it was an interesting piece. And then some guy yelled at our boat. And Theresa's cox box broke. It was fun though. I splashed Logan and Thad a few times too. Yeah, it was a good time. At least it was nice out, I got a sunburnish thing....which is nice because I'm so pale. Anyway, I'm stroking the 4 and the 8 next weekend which I'm super excited. Yeah, it's only cause Jackie isn't gonna be there and Cait can't row..but it's still cool. Yeah, there's really nothing to say...I just don't feel like doing homework yet...

So...I haven't updated this thing in awhile. Spring break has been really nice so far. Crew has been good, too. Except that people keep breaking our boats, and we have a weird number of people, and Cait did something to her hand....so she probably can't row. And she's one of our better people. We had our first 2K yesterday, I don't think I did too well. And then Alex and I rowed with the boys, and got slpashed a lot. How do they end up with a new boat after breaking ours? Anyway, spring break is coming to and end. And I haven't done any homework. And there's a lot of it.
I really need some service hours...so if anyone wants to do something with me.....I have no idea what....but I still need like all my hours because I can't do Relay this year.

Wow, I havent updated in a really long time. There isn't really anything interesting to say though. School's been pretty lame with the DSTP all morning. It isn't too bad though, there's almost no homework and it's easier than anything else we do in school. Crew is pretty good, with a few exceptions...nothing too bad though. Except that we have to use the China boat all the time which is so ugly. Who bought that boat anyway? But we have actually been rowing, which is better than before. Hmmm...like I said, there's really nothing to say.

It's been a busy few days. Saturday and Sunday were pretty much spent at WYRA. I thought we were going to paint the locker room, but it was really just a few people doing that. I figured out that i spent a whole 9 hours there over the weekend. How cool. We did some erg stuff and ran, that was about it. I went to Hannah's on Sat night, Gabby too. We watched a movie, Hannah made unsanitary smoothies, and I wanted to smell the almond cleaner. Monday we got out of school early, we don't have a full week with regular classes until after spring break. No school Tuesday, nothing fun either. Yesterday school was ok, I had a lot of homework though. We ran at crew and the wind chill was like 14...well we didn't really run the whole time. School was pretty boring today. We finally changed our seats in English, I didn't like mine, but I really didn't care that much if they got changed or not. We erged again at crew, and then ran. Cait and I ran the whole time...yay for us. Haha..."there were walkers!" That was about it. I have so much homework right now, so I should get to that.

Hmmm...I haven't written in here in awhile. Last week was okay, I was kinda sick the whole time though. I missed the last swim practice, and then the last meet because I left early on Thursday. There was all this stuff I wanted to do over the weekend but I was still sick, and I had to do all my history stuff so I didn't really get to do any of it. I go tmy hair cut finally though, but that was about it. This week has been pretty much the same, 3 tests already but I think I did okay on them...and there's some huge mouse problem in our school. Anyway, we got o ut early for snow today, so that was nice. And it's snowing now, so maybe no school tomorrow? Probably not though.

My new icon is so irritating, and seizure inducing. I'll change it after V-Day, which is tomorrow. This week went by really fast. We got report cards, I knew all my grades before I got it, and my parents knew too, so it didn't really matter. My GPA went up a lot, and I did pretty well on midterms which is good. There were 2 swim meets I think, but I really can't remember. I know there was the one at Glascow though, and I got my best 500 time, it was still a really bad time though. Speaking of which, I'm not swimming at states. I didn't really think I would make it in anything long, but I just hate 100s, so I didn't really have a choice. There was a dance Friday night, but I didn't really feel like going so I didn't. I didn't really do much yesterday, I was gonna go driving but I actually forgot. Then I was going to go this morning, and I slept too late. It doesn't really matter though, cause I'm practically the last one to drive anyway. I went to a JCC meet today. We won, and I won my individual stuff. Woo hoo. Haha, it wasn't too bad though. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, this year is going by really fast.

This week went by really fast, I guess because last week was all long with mid-terms and studying. Saturday in PA was bad, but no worse than I thought it would be. Sunday I didn't really do anything I can remember. We had a swim meet Monday and that was okay McKean, I think it was monday at least. I didn't do too well, nothing new there. School was alright, I did pretty well on all my midterms, all A's, B's on Foods (I want to see the test), and a C in Spanish. So that's better than last year I guess. Again, I don't really remember how I did last year. Anyway, I got an A on the math one which was really good for me. We had another practice at Concord on Tuesday and Wednesday and the pool was so nice and cold. We had a meet against Glasgow on Thursday and my times weren't too bad, I think I actually got my best 500 time. I don't think I'll make states, at this point it's kinda impossible. Anyway, Friday was okay, I found out I got an 84.3 in math....so close to a B, and a B in foods again....which I'm going to talk to the teacher about because it's a totally subjective grade. No swim practice Friday cause we won our meet on Thursday. Last night was Becca's party, and she had no idea. Brittanie said my parents should have named me O'Flannigan because I'm Irish, instead of "Zuriel".

So..what has happened lately? Midterms are finally over, which is really nice. I got an A on the math one!!! I was overly happy about that one. We had a night meet aginst Dickinson yesterday, which we won by a lot. I didn't swim very well, but it was alright cause we actually won.
First day of Driver's Ed today. I'm second to last on the driving list, so I won't actually be getting to drive for awhile. Still, I'll know about signs....and thats a very valuable skill. In fact, I already learned something today. I was reading random parts of the book because I was done and there were like 3 minutes of class left....and I learned that you do NOT honk a horn when a blind pedestrian is crossing the street, you wait for them to walk across. So after all that fun I went to swim practice which started really late because the bus driver (who was obviously a female) came like half an hour late. Nothing to do tonight, I have to get up early tomorrow to go to PA for the whole day. Needless to say, it is not going to be fun...
I love how the little guy for the mood "accomplished" has weird hair. I know when I'm feeling accomplished, my hair looks different.
